John Ryan has served as Unilife's President and Chief Executive Officer since July 2016. John joined Unilife in 2014 as General Counsel and Secretary, having previously served as a Partner at Duane Morris LLP, as a Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Aramark Corporation and as an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. He is also a member of the Unilife Board of Directors. John holds a B.A. from New York University and a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.
David Hastings serves as Unilife's Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer. David joined Unilife in 2015, and is a veteran finance executive who was previously CFO for Incyte Corporation from 2003 – 2014. Prior to Incyte, he held roles at ArQule, Inc., Genzyme (now a wholly owned subsidiary of Sanofi) and PriceWaterHouseCoopers. He serves on the Board of Directors for Scynexis Inc, and holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont.
Ian Hanson serves as a Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Unilife in 2011, Ian was at Medtronic Diabetes for 11 years, where he held leadership roles in the development and commercialization of insulin delivery devices and diabetes management systems. Ian holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Mike Ratigan serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Unilife. Prior to joining Unilife in 2011, Mike was a global commercial leader for Self-Injection Systems at Becton Dickinson, and also led commercial efforts for Pre-Filled Syringes in the North American market. Mike was a member of the Strategic Marketing Team and served as Group Product Manager at Stryker Orthopedics where he was responsible for business planning, marketing, commercial product launch and sales support for multiple product lines. Mike holds a B.S. degree in marketing from Boston College.
Stephanie Walters serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Unilife. Prior to joining Unilife in 2014 as Associate General Counsel, she was an Assistant General Counsel at ARAMARK Corporation for four years, and an Associate at Pepper Hamilton for four years. Prior to law school, she served as a Legislative Assistant on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee for three years. Stephanie holds a J.D. from Temple University, Beasley School of Law, and an A.B. with honors from Harvard College.
Molly serves as Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, and Chief Compliance Officer. She joined Unilife in 2011, initially serving as a Vice President and General Manager for Advanced Drug Delivery Systems. Prior to joining Unilife, she was a Core Team Leader, Self-Injection, with Becton Dickinson (BD) Pharmaceutical Systems where she was responsible for a portfolio of existing technologies and future customizations for a range of commercial and clinical phase pharmaceutical partners. Molly holds a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from Duke University, and a Sc.B. in Biomechanical Engineering from Brown University.
Rick serves as Vice President and General Manager of Advanced Drug Delivery Systems and is responsible for the development and commercialization of Unilife’s wearable injectors. He joined Unilife in 2011 after eight years with Medtronic Diabetes where he was a global marketing lead for Medtronic’s next-generation insulin pump system as well as a senior mechanical and systems engineer leading mechanical design and electro-mechanical integration of insulin infusion pumps from concept through commercialization. Rick holds an M.B.A. from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California Los Angeles, and a B.S. in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
